It was a truly memorable week on assignment at the Pyeongchang Olympics with ATPI Sports Events. I was commissioned to photograph numerous events during that week and in doing so, I was able to meet some amazing people. It wasn’t only the athletes, coaches, and celebrities, but also the super-cool people participating in the events. Canadians are some of the nicest, most chill people on the planet, and I really enjoyed working with them.
My time with the Samsung Canada group was no exception. From the meet-and-greet with members of the Women’s Olympic Hockey Team and a tour of the high-tech Samsung Pavillon in Olympic Park, to a surprise intimate performance by Canadian band The Arkells at Canada Olympic House, my time at the 2018 Winter Olympics will not be something I forget anytime soon!
