Some time ago, I worked with Alex, a Busan-based 3D artist, on a portrait session. As a creative professional, he was looking for more than just standard headshots—he wanted portraits that would stand out and reflect his own creative energy while still working well for professional use.
We started by setting up a portable studio in his living room to capture a series of clean, dramatic headshots with controlled lighting and a few different looks.
After that, we headed to a nearby outdoor location in Busan for a second set of portraits with a more relaxed, editorial feel. Combining studio lighting with environmental portraits is a great way to create a versatile set of images for creative professionals.
Below are some of my favorite highlights from this session.
