The participants of the Veteran’s Affairs Canada Revisit Korea Program, along with their family members, caretakers and the Veteran’s Affairs delegation, took the high-speed train from Seoul to the city of Busan to attend ceremonies and visit the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea (UNMCK). Participants spent time remembering the fallen comrades who are buried on these hallowed grounds, while witnessing the peace and prosperity brought on by their sacrifices and dedication.
I photographed the Busan leg of this event for my friend and colleague Dylan Goldby, who also documented the other portions of this important visit in significant places around Korea.
