In September of 2024, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) embarked on a trade mission to Korea. During the mission, NZTE facilitated a series of networking events, workshops, and high-level meetings, connecting New Zealand businesses with South Korean industry leaders and government officials to explore new trade opportunities. The engagement also featured the participation of New Zealand’s Prime Minister, which further underscored the mission’s importance in strengthening bilateral economic ties.
I was brought on to cover Day 2 of the trade mission in Seoul, which included visits and meetings with various Korean companies, as well as the gala dinner that capped off the mission.
