For the past eleven years, the Kiwi Chamber has held the New Zealand Wine Festival to introduce the people of Seoul and Busan to the best wine offerings of the island nation. While it is always a well-attended event, this year’s turnout was at a record high in both cities.
On May 25th in Seoul, guests enjoyed great wine, delicious food, and thankfully good weather as the skies cleared up just in time for the event. A unique feature of this year’s festival was a Hāngi, a traditional Māori method of cooking food using heated stones buried in a pit oven, done right on the grounds of the Grand Hyatt! I was on photo duty for this leg of event. It was quite a busy shoot from start to finish, but it was definitely a great time! Here are some of my favorite shots from that day:

A couple of weeks later on June 8th, the Busan leg of the event was held at the Ananti Cove. The beautiful seaside location was the perfect setting for sipping wine and enjoying the festival’s exciting offerings. I was in charge of video this time around, capturing the day’s highlights.
