From March 30 to April 2, 2026, the Team Canada Trade Mission (TCTM) returned to Seoul, South Korea. Led by Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Maninder Sidhu, together with Canadian Ambassador to Korea Philippe Lafortune, the high-profile delegation brought together more than 110 Canadian organizations and hundreds of Korean government and business leaders. The four-day mission focused on strengthening strategic partnerships in advanced industries, including aerospace, clean energy transition, defense, and information and communications technology (ICT).
It has been a privilege to document several high-level visits and bilateral programs for the Government of Canada over the years, and I’m always grateful to receive the call whenever a major trade mission comes to Seoul. During this assignment, I photographed two signature events: the welcome reception at the beautiful Samcheonggak, followed by the main networking reception the following day at Lotte Hotel Seoul.
