I often recall my university days with fondness. Those were really wonderful and formative years. However, there is one aspect I admittedly don’t really think about: the important role of alumni to a university. I was reminded of this when me and my colleague Greg Samborski were brought on to document a Macquarie University alumni event in Seoul. It was great to see alumni from different years gather together, reminisce about their university, and also get a chance to participate in the future of their alma mater. Aside from event photography, we were also tasked to provide headshots for the alumni members to use on their online profiles and other professional needs. We set up a pop-up studio in one corner of the room and had a blast photographing the participants. Please check out some highlights from the event below.
